La satisfacció sexual s?ha convertit en una qüestió important dintre dels estudis sobre sexualitats, dels que sistemàticament les persones grans queden excloses al reduir la seua sexualitat a aspectes relacionats amb la mala salut. En aquest estudi s?analitza la satisfacció sexual amb la parella d?aquest grup de població a través de la Encuesta Nacional de Salud Sexual, prenent com a base el model biopsicosocial de la sexualitat (DeLamater, 2002) i considerant el gènere i diferents grups d?edat. Els resultats indiquen el caràcter multifactorial de la satisfacció sexual, prioritzant elements de natura relacional, social i cultural per sobre de l?estat de salut.

The present study examines the direct relationship between sexual satisfaction and restrictions during the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. In this study the topic of sexual communication, satisfaction, and accommodation in intercultural relationships is examined. Intercultural couples are in need of more attention in scholarly research, especially on the topic of sexual communication. This study aims to bring the topic into clear view.
